Mustard Seed Ranch
Medium: Print
Technologies Utilized: Photoshop, Illustrator
At Mustard Seed Ranch, troubled children and young adults ages 11-18 come to engage in specially designed animal assisted programs.
The outline of MSR is a lighter screen to give the impression of the depth of an actual brand on leather. Incorporated into the words "Mustard Seed Ranch" is a small heart which ties in with the softer flowing font in the statement "a safe place for Hope & Healing". Finally the whole logo was bordered with sticks to reflect a simple rustic flavor.

American First Credit Union
Medium: Print
Technologies Utilized: Photoshop, Illustrator
Our "Better Than 0%" promotion for AFCU resulted in the credit union funding 1018 loans for a total of $18.3 million in loan balances. The promotion was initially scheduled to run for a two month time period, but was so successful that it was extended for an additional month, and landed us a feature story on DM News, the key trade publication for direct marketers.
The campaign's main focus was in the fiercely competitive area of auto loan services. AFCU needed a way to compete with the perceived value of auto manufacturers' "0% Financing" offers. We developed the campaign along with AFCU which included in-branch elements consisting of 4 posters of various sizes, 2 postcards, statement inserts, as well as 2 separate direct mail pieces. The direct mail pieces targeted both current credit union members and served as an introduction to potential members in the community at large.

Renaissance Church
Medium: Print
Technologies Utilized: Photoshop, Illustrator
Renaissance's target audience is a deep pockets community of very successful, media savvy professionals based in the Northeast. To appeal to this Great Gatsby audience, we created a very simple, low-hype mark with a Renaissance period theme that wasn't overly dramatic. The final logo design is a beautiful one-color mark that is given additional elegance through an emboss on various elements within the identity system of business cards (the logo was embossed on the blue portion of the card), letterhead, thank you cards, and multiple envelopes. Nice and simple, combining a sense of history an innovation, and not visually communicating that the organization was a church.

Cal Pac Sheet Metal
Medium: Print
Technologies Utilized: Illustrator
The project goal was to create a mark that could stand alone as well as with the company name; to signify Cal Pac. This was accomplished by utilizing the letters "C" and "P" as the primary focus. The resulting mark has several layers of meaning attached including the "C" and "P" created with the look of molded metal, their controlled and smooth flow into the snips, and the more abstract image of a metal worker whose head sits atop the "C". The font flavor is very modern and yet again reinforces the worker's control over the metal with its firmly cut lines combined with angled edges.

Karo Film
Medium: Print
Technologies Utilized: Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark
In our U.S. ad campaign, we needed to do a “show and tell” about Karo, making sure that the U.S. entertainment industry knows that Karo is the biggest and best in Russia. The client wanted something that was edgy and funny without being too aggressive or offensive.
In the final design for Propaganda, we locked in the Russian version of the logo rather than an Americanized version, and play off American’s Cold War connotations of the Soviet propaganda machine giving the ad a sense of epic scale while turning the perception of propaganda on its head.

This was a particularly innovative project! From the use of Rick's shirt as the background to provide texture behind the album images, to the unique need for an ad inside the product that would drive the customer to additional resources available via download on the web site, this package design needed to hold 9 CDs and list every single song on each project.
